SAUDI ARABIA | Yanbu 5x660 MW Power Plant Phase III
Taking lesser travelled roads to contribute to history in the making
With an ultimate net power of 27085MW and the ability to generate 555,000 m3/day of desalinated water, the Yanbu Power Plant construction project is another ongoing venture of Ärk. The Yanbu Power Plant is set to have five units with each unit producing 628 MW gross power, along with a supercritical boiler and an Alstom turbine-generator, thus winning the reputation for being one of the largest power plants in the world.
Ärk is presently occupied in vessel chartering to the Jeddah Port in Saudi Arabia and directly delivering the cargo of 25,000 freight tons to the project site in Yanbu Industrial City. Ärk is putting to use its comprehensive fleet of transport equipment to efficiently deliver the cargo to help complete the project at the decided timeframe.
